Moving into a house with a septic can seem daunting, but other than a few concessions that should be made, it's not much different to life on mains wastewater. First of all, try to find out the systems history. If it hasn't been pumped in the last 12 months, we recommend getting it pumped, just to make sure you don't inherit any problems from the previous owners. Secondly, try to avoid antibacterial cleaning products. Including but not limited to; bleaches, sanitisers, some heavy duty cleaners and even some shampoos that contain peroxide.

Whether you pay for a single service or the whole year, the price includes everything required for a standard service, this includes chlorine as required and 1 air blower filter per year. The service covers you for up to an hour of labour, however an average service will generally take 10-20 minutes.
